Istanbul Arel University is a private university in Turkey, established in 2007, continuing the mission of the Kemal Gözükara Education and Culture Foundation, founded in 1999.

The university operates across three campuses: Sefaköy, Tepekent, and Cevizlibağ. It began its educational journey at the Sefaköy Campus and later moved its academic units to the Tepekent Campus, which was renamed the Kemal Gözükara Campus in 2018. In the 2019-2020 academic year, the university opened the Cevizlibağ Campus, which houses the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Health Sciences, and the Memorial Bahçelievler Hospital, along with numerous laboratories, research centers, and healthcare facilities.

Istanbul Arel University offers a wide variety of diverse academic programs across different disciplines, taught in either English or Turkish. These programs span undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels.
