Istanbul Galata University is one of the private universities in Turkey, continuously striving to develop modern teaching methods. The university is located in the heart of European Istanbul, in the Galata district, along the shores of the Golden Horn, a peninsula surrounded by historical landmarks and close to commercial centers and all essential services needed by students for study and living.

The dream of establishing Istanbul Galata University began in 2010 by businessman Mehmet Bulut, with the aim of educating and preparing young people to contribute to the development of the country and society. After his passing, his daughter Nilufer Bulut continued his vision, and the university officially emerged on the higher education scene in 2019, beginning its educational activities in 2020.
