How to Pay Your Tuition Fees

General rule: No tuition fees for both EU and non-EU students. All students only pay a semester contribution (~€250) which covers student services, transport ticket, and administrative costs.

Exceptions:

  • Certain continuing education / professional master’s programs (e.g., MBA, specialized postgraduate studies) may charge tuition fees ranging from €1,500 to €15,000+, depending on the program.
  • Non-EU students are not charged additional tuition beyond the semester fee (unlike some other German states such as Baden-Württemberg).
  • Payment methods: Bank transfer (SEPA / IBAN). The semester contribution must be transferred each semester before enrollment renewal.
